Eyelash Extensions Aftercare and Questions

HOW LONG DO LASH EXTENSIONS LAST? Properly applied extensions should last as long as your natural eyelash growth cycle, anywhere from 3-6 weeks depending on the individual.  Aftercare is the key to longevity.  A eyelash extension refill or "lash fill" every 2-3 weeks is required to maintain your initial full set look.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET TOUCH-UPS? We recommend getting a eyelash extension refill or “lash fill” every 2 to 3 weeks. If you wait too long your eyelash extensions will shed and you will require a full set. Your natural eyelashes shed every 45 - 60 days due to the natural growth cycle and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash.  Other factors such as exposure to steam or touching your eyes may cause the extensions to fall sooner.

WHY SHOULD I INVEST IN THEM? Eyelash extensions prevents the need for mascara they enhance the eyes making you look even more beautiful, you can swim and workout with them, no need for an eyelash curler, does not damage the natural lash, look and feel natural, makes natural eyelashes look thicker, fuller and more dramatic.

ARE LASH EXTENSIONS BAD FOR MY LASHES? Mink eyelash extensions are the BEST option when using false lashes to enhance your look. This is because eyelash extensions are placed using the correct weight and correct length individually on your natural lashes. They are placed 1 mm from your skin, so there is no contact with your lids. The adhesive used is undetectable.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT AFTER CARE? The longevity of the eyelash extensions depends on how well you take care of them. The maintenance depends on you, therefore we cannot guarantee how long the extensions will stay. For best results, we recommend a lash fill every 2 weeks.

THE FIRST 48 HOURS?  The first 48 hours are critical for the adhesive to cure (dry) to thoroughly and yield a strong, durable bond. During this time, the adhesive bond is vulnerable to moisture, steam, excessive heat, cosmetic ingredients coming into contact with the adhesive bond, and friction from rubbing and cleansing, sleeping on side or stomach etc.
