Improper Lash Isolation

Improper lash isolation while performing an eyelash extensions service leads to several issues.  It can cause premature lashes to come out leaving gapping in the lashes or traction alopecia.  Traction alopecia is a type of alopecia, or gradual hair loss, caused primarily by pulling force being applied to the hair.  Too much adhesive can also cause this.
In the picture to the left, this client not only had entirely too much glue but improper isolation.  Also, note that there is also oils and dirt that has built up on both the lashes and the extensions.  I removed the lashes and told her to use Vitamin E and a lash serum for 30 days.  Then come back so the health of her lashes can be determined for another set of lashes.
